The Planning Board has released its official version of the stormwater management regulations due for formal review on Tuesday, October 15. Following a public hearing that evening (7 o’clock at the Wolfeboro Public Library), the board will vote on including the new rules in its site plan review regulations. Those regs apply to residential subdivisions and to commercial developments.
If approved, the stormwater regulations will apply to the entire town. However, they will be especially important in any rezoning of Route 28 along the north shore of Lake Wentworth, since they provide the principal means of controlling stormwater runoff from developments there.
